AKC Labrador Retriever Breeder in Ohio

Preserving the Legacy of the Labrador Retriever

Our mission is to produce Labradors that are respected representations of the standard and cherished, healthy family companions with solid temperaments.

Located in Warren County, Ohio, Trouvae Labradors serves families in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, and surrounding areas seeking well-bred Labrador Retrievers.

Many people use the term “English Labrador Retriever” to describe a style of Labrador Retriever often seen in the show ring. The American Kennel Club recognizes only one Labrador Retriever standard, and this commonly used term refers to type—not a separate breed.

Our Dogs

The Labrador Retriever comes in three colors— black, yellow and chocolate.

No Exceptions.

Trouvae Labradors is a preservation-focused Labrador Retriever breeder in Ohio grounded in sustained involvement in purebred dogs and AKC conformation. Breeding under the Trouvae name began as a continuation of years spent studying structure, pedigree, and animal husbandry within established programs.

The focus remains steady: produce Labradors that reflect the standard and function as stable, capable companions in the home. Litters are planned intentionally and not produced on a set schedule; information about current and planned litters can be found on the Litters page. Families interested in learning more are encouraged to review the Puppy Process before reaching out.
